In Chapter Seven, I’ll teach you about why you should be building a community of “fans” and how-to actually do it through your blog!
The goal: to show you how having a support community can help increase the demand for your PSI (product, service, information).
Word-of-mouth marketing will always be the best form of marketing there is. So the more happy people you have, saying positive things about your PSI, the better chances you have of growing your business.
There are two definitions to the word ‘community’ that do a great job of explain the benefits to “building a community”.
- Common ownership
- Agreement as to goals

When you build a community through your blog (this applies to social media marketing too, but that’s a different strategy) your creating fans. People who read your content, because it adds value to their lives or businesses. These people then start to take ownership of your business, referring you and your PSI.
If your goals or mission as a company is to add value to your customers lives in some way, then your “fans” will agree because they will be reaping the benefits! And they’ll happily tell their friends and family how you have been helping them!
This concept of “building a community” is simple to do, the key is adding value to people’s lives and making what you do engaging…but more on that in the full chapter!
